Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live: for thy law is my delight".(see Psalms 119:77 (KJV)).
Before we start, it is important for us to pray for the grace to understand and to comprehend this already sent word of God. You see, understanding is a very vital weapon in this Kingdom. When you understand a revelation, or a thing, you actually begin to live in the realities, or wisdom of the revelation, or thing you actually understood. It is impossible to experience a thing without understanding it. For example, you have to understand healing, if you must be healed. Yes, miracle do happen, but only through coming into the knowledge of the truth that there is a God of miracle, or there is a God who is Almighty; and these can only be done through understanding. You cannot realize without understanding (see Joshua 1:8). This is why so many people are poor or sick and stay that way; this is because they understood the technicalities of how to remain poor or sick, and those technicalities can be seen or realize in their actions, "by their fruits you shall know them", therefore, there is never a tree who doesn't understand why it keeps on reproducing the same fruit. Thus, the proof of understanding is realize in the consistent reproduction of the same fruit. If there is no understanding, there's no consistency in maintaining a certain production of fruit. Hence, Understanding comes before realizing. Knowledge increase grace, through understanding (see 2nd Peter 1:2). In other words, you cannot know, without understanding (see Daniel 2:21). And this is why we ought to pray for understanding. But before we further, I would like to elucidate what I said concerning understanding healing, and this is for better clarification. Please understand this, there's healing as a result, and there is healing. For example, the reason why bartimaues cried for healing as he saw Jesus coming was because he had received some certain level of understanding that there is healing in a potential energy level in Jesus. In other words, he knew that this man has the ability to heal me. And as he cried for the manifestation of the healing in a potential energy level in Jesus, that potential energy, became a healing in a kinetic energy form. In other words, the healing that is inactive, became active through a cry that is backed up on understanding; potential energy simply means energy that is not in motion, and kinetic energy means energy in motion. In short, now "I was blind, and now I can see"; the "now I can see" part is what is called the result of healing, and this is not what you should understand because it is not given to you to understand a phenomenal and a wonder. In trying to understand that, you may be questioning a miracle, and that is not the type of understanding I am advocating. Hence, it is vital to first understand a thing than trying to understand the effect or result. For you to get healing or prophecy as a result, you must understand healing and prophecy. And understanding healing and prophecy is simply you believing that there is a God who heals and also a God who reveals things. When you do that, you have engage the first stage of understanding and therefore, the result allocated to that first stage of understanding becomes materialize in your life. Now we move. There's a popular part of scripture, which says, "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death "(see Revelation 12:11 (KJV)). Now, I want us to underline the word overcame and the word blood of the lamb and also, the word, word of their testimony. Now, I want you to understand that there is not a conquest without the blood of the lamb. In other words, you cannot carry off the victory, or come off victorious without understanding the legality of the power of the blood of Jesus first, and the testimony or report as a witness through the truth you know in relation to the blood of Jesus. In other words, the truth you know concerning the blood of Jesus is very essential, when it comes to you being more than a conqueror. For you to stay more than a conqueror, you must be able to speak legal things concerning the truth you know about the finished work of the blood of the lamb in the court of the immortals. In case you don't know, that word "testimony" means what one testifies, before a judge. Speaking about legality, I want you to understand what is a legality. A legality, is the quality or state of being in accordance with the law. In other words, what you must say or do must be in accordance with the Truth concerning the blood of Jesus. Your victory is dependent on what you know concerning the blood of Jesus. Apart from Jesus saving your soul from hell, what other truth do you know concerning the finished work of Jesus? You see, the principle of legality, in criminal law, means that only the law can define a crime and prescribe a penalty. In other words, persons must not be held to be criminally liable and punished without there first being a law so holding. In other words, you are not found guilty unless The Word founds you guilty, and judgement is also prescribe according to the Word. And this is what the devil use to afflict most of you. You think it is a normal war you are in, but they understand better than most of you, that it is a war all about legality. That's why in verse 10 of revelation 12, you will understand that the devil was only accusing the heavenly beings before the judge according to the law; "for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night". But they defeated the devil by saying the truth they knew before the judge, "And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ..." Those where their testimony. It was Law verses Law (in the knowledge of the blood of Jesus). But you may say Angels don't know the Word of God. But what you don't understand is that, what the Angels don't know or rather, understand is Grace. They are very much aware of the law, but not grace. They understand how the law works, and that's why they use the law they understood concerning Jesus. The Sovereignty and the Almighty status is a law in the court of the immortals, and that was what they understood. But grace, they know not (see 1 Peter 1:12). Hence, you who were given a better weapon than the law, which is Grace, the blood of Jesus, what do you know about it? Have you take time to study what was given to you? So what will you do, if you have a very minimal understanding of the finished work of Jesus, and the devil is accusing you concerning the law, what will you do. Any area of your life you fail to overcome means that you have minimal or no understanding of the power of the blood in that aspect of your life. Do you understand that it was the blood of Jesus that speak better things than the blood of Abel, that spoke for Israel and prevented the law of death HE passed concerning Egypt from entering them. When there's mercy, which is the blood of Jesus, in your gate, there's mercy in your city (see Exodus 12:13). Where the blood is, mercy is present. The chief butler was forgiven because of the blood of Jesus. Him begin a butler, means he works with the vine, and this is even reflected in his dream. In his dream, there was a vine in front of him, and that vine signifies mercy, it was Jesus (see John 15:5). The chief butler received mercy from Jesus, and by the power of the blood of Jesus, he was restored to his original state (see Gen 40:9). No wonder the psalmist could cry for mercy, and this was because he understood that we live by God's mercy (see Psalm 119:77). Now, you can see that mercy gives life, protects, and restored, and it also cancel any other laws.
