"Ask,
and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be
opened unto you":
"You
desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you
want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask
God".
Before
we discuss about the A (ask) S (seek) K (knock) principle for effective answers
from GOD through Prayer. Let us talk about prayer for a little while. I'll like
to establish a solid foundation by starting with these few words. The key to
understanding everything is to have the right concept. If your concept is
wrong, everything you do and conclude will be wrong. If your concept is
defective, everything you interpret will be defective. Concept is an idea, and
idea is the original thought. When your idea is correct, your understanding is
correct, is a vice-versa thing. The problem between the world and religion,
including the Christian religion is a conceptional problem. If your concept are
wrong, you will always come out with the wrong conclusion. Prayer, is a
communion activity with GOD. When we mean Prayer, we mean activating The GOD in
you, by bringing 'ELOHIM' on a scene in your life. Please understand this,
there are three classes of prayer, which are; THE RELIGIOUS CLASS, THE LEVEL
CLASS AND THE DIMENSIONAL CLASS. People or believers who belong in to the
religious class, prays religious prayers, example of people in this class are
the Pharisees and the Sadusees, religious prayer, wants glory from man. In
other words, they want to please other men by their actions, prayer in this
class are never answered. According to an average Christian belonging in the
religious class, prayer to them is the requesting of things from GOD, that's
why people in this group thinks they can please GOD with their religious
activities. The level class contains believer who belong and operate in levels.
They pray the approval of license prayer, in other words, they give GOD
approval to interfere in their life. Example of people in this class are the
baby and growing believers. In other words, Prayer in a level term means giving
GOD license to operate on earth. While in a dimension, prayer is GOD
manifesting through you in your life, affecting your circumstances, environment
and others. Prayer, in a dimension, is GOD at work through you. People in this
class are ALWAYS MATURED BELIEVERS just like Abraham, Moses, Prophet Elijah and
all other major Prophet in the Bible, The 12 Apostles including Paul, Kathryn
Kuhlman, Oral Robert, Pastor Benny Hinn, Prophet Uebert Angel, Pastor Chris and
many Great men of GOD of our present days and those that ever lived on
earth. Your prayer ability is based on the class you are in your work
with GOD. Did you understand what I just said. Be calm, we need to understand
this before we go in to the principles. Let talk on the important of
prayer. Prayer is more important than power. The reason why prayer is
more important than power is because, prayer can do anything GOD can do.
Prayers comes before anything. Only prayer can defeat Satan and his purpose in
our life, without prayer, the very power of GOD in our life can be lost.
Without prayer, all what we have done for GOD can be cancelled, in other words,
without prayer, we begin to sink and all our reward waiting for us can be lost.
Prayers brings power over all your sins and devils, prayer also brings power
over secret sins. Prayer is the key of receiving things from GOD. IF YOU DON'T
KNOW HOW TO PRAY, YOU WILL NEVER RECEIVE ANYTHING FROM GOD. Understand this,
Prayer (A.S.K) is a process you must follow, if you must receieve things from
GOD. Your actions, A. S. K( ask, seek, knock) + your words (either logos
(written words) or rhema(said word)) equals Prayer. Prayer is not complete if
either of those two process are missing. Prayer will not be answered if any of
the A. S. K principle is not completely observe and used with a wrong motive,
this is why, you pray and don't receive (see James 4:2). When we talk about the
A. S. K principle, all what we mean is Ask, seek and knock, this is more
important than your words. In other words, this principle defines your words.
This is why JESUS in Matt 7:7, revealed the greatest principle of prayer in the
first sentence before the comma, 'HE' said 'ASK' (ask, seek and knock) and it
will be given to you. If you understand this, you will receive anything from
GOD. JESUS literally taught us and His disciples how to pray (see Luke 11:9).
'HE' taught His disciples how to pray in Luke 11: 9, when they told Him to
teach them in Luke 11:1. JESUS further explanation what HE meant when HE told
them to ASK, HE said "seek and you will find; knock and the door will be
opened to you. Whosoever does this, will receive. Let talk about the first
letter of the principle, letter 'A' which stands for ask. Ask from the Greek is
parakalo which is translate as the ability to say something in order to obtain
an answer. It also translate it as the requesting for someone to do or give
something. Asking, is the first part of prayer. The reason why prayers are not
answered is because many Christian start and end their prayers in asking, they
never move to the next part of prayer which is seeking, they only ask, and that
is all. When the Word of GOD tells you to ask, 'HE' means after the worship and
praise words you give to HIM in the beginning of your prayer, HE wants you to
make your request on that genuine thing you really need not want. In Mark
11:24, HE told us to believe what we have 'ASK', not 'ASKS' and we will receive
'IT' not them. In John 14:13, HE still reminder us that the specific and
genuine things we ask, that is what we'll receive. "And whatsoever ye
shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the
Son". JESUS is not interested in your list, HE is concerned about that
specific and genuine thing you what, no wonder HE said, "ask and it shall
be given (specified or stated, (given also means that). One thing you
must understand is that asking is not just simply getting on your knees and
looking up, speaking empty words, prayer is not simply the uttering of words
that means nothing. GOD is not asking us to utter words, GOD is asking us to
pray from the heart. Asking produces seeking, and seeking comes from the heart.
If you can't seek with your heart, don't bother asking. Please note, asking
does not guarantee your prayers will be answered, whenever you ask, what you
are asking for is taking into account, this was why JESUS said ask (say
something) and it shall be given (taking into account). Given means Dedomenos
in Greek which means to take into account. Prayer must come from the heart or
it is not prayer, it must come from the inner being or it is not heard, it must
come from the deep of your soul, if not it is not accepted. The 'S' for seek
principle, as easy as it is, this is the most hardest of all. The Greek
translate for seek is Psachno, which means attempt to find something, as easy
as it is but hard to practice. This is why alot of people skip this part
because it requires more time and patience, seeking creates a sound in the
throne of Heaven which is called the knock. You can never receive anything
without seek. GOD speaks and bless those who seek HIS will not their will (see
John 5:30-37). Another problem with the seeking is this; The LORD cannot be
seek by a man, till GOD has sought HIM, in other words, you cannot seek GOD
unless HE has sought you. This is what happened to Gideon, King David, Noah and
others, they were sought-after by the LORD. The easiest solution in seeking is
this "But seek (attempt to find) first his kingdom and his righteousness,
and all these things will be given to you as well". Seeking creates room
for receiving, it produces the sound which is known as knock. IF YOU SEEK GOD'S
KINGDOM, YOU BECOME BLESSED AUTOMATICALLY. Seeking the kingdom doesn't means
leaving your house and going to the desert to find the Kingdom of heaven.
Seeking means the desire and hunger, more of JEUS and HIS Kingdom. Whenever you
are praying, desire, be hungry to know JESUS, this is seeking. Whenever you
seek during prayer, you find, find means to perceive by chance or unexpectedly,
to recognize or discover (something) to be present, the Greek word for it is
Evrima. This tells us that the ASK principle can be liken as a man, who leaves
his dimension (Ask) and discover HIS master dimension (seek) then make a little
sound on the gate of HIS MASTER (knock), just to receive many good tidings from
HIM (opened). Seeking is a must for everyone, if you must discover where your
blessings is, seek for it, desire JESUS. People who stopped at seeking never
receive anything also because, they just discovered the place of their
blessings. The 'K' for knock principle is the last stage of prayer, with the
knock stage, prayer is completed. KNOCKING always brings answers. Knocking is
Thanksgiving unto GOD for answered prayers, in other words, Thanksgiving to
GOD, is the little sound you make to GOD. Without Thanksgiving, your prayers
are not answered. The knock principle is the Thanksgiving sound that opens
heaven. The Greek word for knock is Chtypima, which translate is a sudden short
sound caused by a blow, especially on a door to ATTRACT ATTENTION or gain
entry. In other words, it means strike a surface noisily to ATTRACT ATTENTION,
especially when waiting to be let through a door. Thanksgiving in every prayer,
attracts blessings. Knock (,attract attention), and it will be open (allowed in
access). Open in Greek means Anoixe, it is translated as allowing access,
passage, or a view through an empty space, not closed or blocked up. When we
give thanks during our prayers we receive. You say something, HE take it into
account (Ask and it shall be given), you attempt to find and you discover (seek
and you shall find), you attract attention and what you are looking for is
given to you without measure (knock and it will be open). The first time I
discovered this principle and applied it, that same day, I got 79,000K. Anyone
who follows this simple ASK principle will not suffer, for this is what JESUS
taught us to pray. Prayer is based on A.S.K. go and learn.
Prayer; LORD JESUS, teach me how to Successful apply your ASK principle in my prayer life.
