THE PRECEPT OF SOWING.

 "Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy! He who goes out weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come home with shouts of joy, bringing his sheaves with him" (see psalm 126:5-6).

The Greatest enemy of man is not sin, it is not Satan, it is ignorance. Ignorance is the major enemy of man (see Hosea 4:6). Presently, the church has neglected and misunderstood the aspect of sowing, which is one of the most important practices in genuine Christianity. The gospel of sowing has been bastardize and used as a means of extortion in the church. Before we further, I need us to understand that sowing is not limited to money alone, it also includes other assets, it includes time. In other words, a seed can be your money, time, and other valuable assets. Now, we must understand that to sow is to place (seeds) in or on the ground for future growth. Note, it is the placing of seeds, not giving. You don't give seeds to harvest, but you place seeds to harvest, in other words, you position, you invest into a certain place, and not transfer into a certain place. You can only give what you harvested. Take note, the act of sowing is not a pitiable exercise, but an action born out of love and the knowledge of its benefits, yet, it should be done with genuine love from the heart. For example, we don't get ourselves educated in educational institutions because of pity, we rather get educated on the basis of the love we or our parents have for us, and the benefits of education, but yet genuine love is need for successful results of what we are being educated in a particular discipline. Another example is a farmer. A granger never sow seed in/on his farm just because of pity, but rather because of love for himself and his household, (which is the prevention of starving to death) and other benefits attached to farming. The act of sowing is rather a necessity for success and yet, it's not by force. Just like how food and shelter are necessities of life, so is the act of sowing. In a punctilious manner, as much as it is necessary to eat, it is also not by force to eat. And also how essential it is for us to study, yet, it is not by force to study. The reason why it is called the act of sowing is because we always have a role, or a part to play before and when sowing. It is in our jurisdiction to define our motive before sowing, and also screen, examine, and qualify the worthiness of our seeds, and the fecundity of the soil, or the environment we are about to sow our seeds, before we invest them. In other words, you don't go out there sowing a qualified seed in an unqualified soil, or an unqualified seed in a qualified soil, if you do this, you gain zero harvest. Now, it's important you know that every seed have it soil/environmental match. In other words, their are really no bad seed and bad soil, but instead, unqualified seed and unqualified soil. Soil and seeds are only bad if there are not of Jesus and doesn't bear the testimony of Jesus. Before we further, it very paramount we understand why we really need to define our motive before sowing. Now, when we talk about motive, we are talking about the reason for the action, or the psychological feature that arouses an individual to action toward a desired goal. You don't sow without a reason, it doesn't work like that. The reason why you plant a rice crop is because you want rice, you don't sow rice because you want beans, rather, you sow what you want to get. Our motive is very important when it comes to God, you don't sow with the motive of getting wealthy in a church that only produce healing, or sow with the motive of getting healthy in a church that produce wealthy people. If you do this, you are only sowing a qualified seed in an unqualified soil, in other words, a soil that doesn't offer those benefits. Now, when you sow in/on a soil that does not offer the right benefits for a particular seed, you are actually sowing a fertile seed in/on an unfertile soil. The reason why it's unfertile is because it lacks certain benefits required for the seed. I'm I saying that their are no churches that doesn't offer both healing and wealth, 'No', what I'm simply saying is that you have to define your motive and sow in a qualify soil that offers what you want. This is why there are no bad soil in Christ,  but only an unqualified soil that doesn't offer the motive of what you sow. I'm I also saying that the soil determine the fruit product of a seed, 'no', this is because, even if we plant mango in a clay or sandy soil, and it manage to germinate, what it will produce are mango fruits. What I'm actually saying is that, if we are suppose to sow the mango seedling in a humus soil, and we sow it in a clay soil instead, what we will actually encounter will be the death of the seedling because the unqualified soil does not offer some certain requirements needed for the germination of the seed. Even if it manages to germinate, it will definitely take longer period than the usual time to germinate, and will also suffer deficiency of certain essential element needed for it perfect growth. This is also the same when it comes to God and the things of God. Just like how you have different soil that offer different benefits to different seeds for the purpose of a similar manifestation which are growth, maturity and fruitfulness, that is how you have different churches and men of GOD in Christ, that offers different benefits to different seeds in Christ, for the purpose of a similar manifestation which are growth, maturity and fruitfulness in Christ (see 1 Corinth 12:4-25). Now, when dealing with unqualified seed, what we are actually saying are seeds that doesn't meet up with the proper standards for sowing. Let me elaborate what this means. A seed becomes qualified when it is sow willing, and it becomes unworthy when it's sow reluctantly, grudgingly, and under compulsion, now is Psalm 126:5-6 justify. This is because if your seed is not from a willing heart, it's automatically unworthy and no positive harvest whatsoever. Another thing concerning the qualification of a seed is that It is also certified when it matches the proper environment/soil it requires in Christ, and uncertified when it fail to match the required soil, even if it is from a willing heart. Another wisdom we must understand is the bountifulness and slenderly of a seed, this also determine the worthiness of a seed. Now, to sow bountifully means to sow willing or freely, in as much as it also means to sowing in abundance. Before we further, I will need us to understand that 2nd Corinth 9:6 is the universal law for success in life also, it's not only limited to Spiritual things, but also physical things. If you sow your time in Christ reluctantly, grudgingly and little, to your wife, your family, your business, your education, etc you will get little positive good results, but if you sow more time to them, you will see great positive changes, some of your problem is that you don't give quality time to what benefits  you, and this is the reason why many of you have marital problems, educational problems, business problems, etc. Even our relationship with Jesus is dependent on that scripture, if we sow small time with him, we reap small results, if we sow much, we reap much results. Now listen and understand that sowing bountifully doesn't really matter to the amount of figures or resources you sow, but really matter on the basis of praise. You see, the word, "sow upon bountifully" In 2nd Corinth 9:6 is translate as "epi eulogia", which is where we get the word eulogy, which is actually sowing on the basis of blessings, and also translate as Praise. You may think what I just said is a repeated verbatim, but it's not, there are all different. In actually sense, my praise to the one I sow to must define the amount and wealthiness of what I sow. This also refer to one's motive. We sow on the basis of praise according to how we are blessed. You cannot have much millions and billions in your account and end up sowing something not reasonable to God, or sow much millions and billions just to ostentate that you are more better than others. If you indulge in any of this, you have actually disqualifiy the seed you want to sow, and actually sow sparingly, which is sowing according to self and not God. Note, all seeds must be on the basis of praise, giving praise to the Lord, telling him that Lord, I trust you with this handsome amount because you are worth of my praise, and not self. This was why Jesus in Mark 12:42-43 watched and honor the offering of a poor woman, who cast out all she had on the basis of praise, even if it was from her poverty she gave, than the others who gave out of abundance on the basis of self. So brothers and sisters, sowing bountiful is the act of worship, according to how blessed we are, if you feel that God deserve a token equivalent to the act of worship of honor, then sow it, this is regarding to the pledge to God. If it's not from praise, it'll be rejected, and the offenders will be punished like Annais and his wife. In regarding to healing, wealth and all sorts, all sowing must be done on the basis of praise if we must reap them. But if we sow based on self, and not praise, we will only sow in a deficient amount or quality or extent, even if it is from our abundant, or the little we have. This explains sparingly, which is sowing in a stingy manner, which is actually a cheap means. So a seed is disqualified if it is not sowed on the basis of praise, even if it has passed through the willingness, and compatible criteria. And finally, it's important we understand the conversion of sowing. I need us to understand that in sowing, the death of a seed, is the beginning of life of another form in a seed. Note, there must be a conversion of seeds sowed, this is the important aspect of sowing. How seeds are buried in one form and resurrected in another form (see 1 Corinth 15:36-37). God gives the seed that is sowed, a new body, a new manifestation as it pleased him (see 1 Corinth 15vs38). Now listen, the transaction of a seed on a new body happen in Christ. In other words, when we sow seed, and it dies in Christ, God gives that same seed another manifestation which is the result you need, this is why seeds are not sowed anywhere and anyhow, it must be in Christ. In other words, the material things you sow into the house of GOD, literally produce and become the result you need. That fifty dollars, five thousand, a thousand naira,  hundred thousand, a million, you sow to God concerning the issues you once faced, had produce the results you need. That's why it is said that when you sow, or give, you get good measure back that will run over (see Luke 6:38). So there must be the DNA of the seed which died in the new manifestation. In other words, what you sow in Christ that dies, and it is quicken by his resurrection power is given another manifestation which is the result you desire. So the resurrection power of Jesus Christ transform what we sow into the result we desire. We may sow perishable seeds willing in dishonor, in weaknesses and in pain, but when the resurrection power is applied by GOD, what we receive are imperishable, glorious and powerful results (see 1 Corinth 15:39-43). My pals, I encourage you to sow to the Lord's work, in a specific genuine church of God that match what you need. Sowing produces great results, for seed are only giving to those who sow ( see 2nd Corinth 9:10), if you are not a sower, no seed whatsoever. So don't complain, don't sow anyhow, and to anybody, only sow according to the leading of the Holy Spirit, in a fertile church in Christ that suits what you need, that is if you are in need, and if you are not, sow for his glory, to support the gospel. Never wait until you are in need before you sow, make it a habit, an spare yourself painful experiences. Take note, love one another, Don't forget the Word. Shalom.
