UNDERSTANDING PRIESTHOOD, THE DUTY OF EVERY BELIEVERS (A CALL FOR UNITY TO ALL BELIEVERS, CHRISTIANS AND SONS OF GOD).

Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ (see 1 Corinthians 12:12).

Before we start, I will like to encourage as many that will come across this revelation, to pray for understanding, that insight and understanding be given to you to be able to comprehend this already sent word of God. Pray that the anointing that teaches you all things reveal this to you. See, understanding was given to Daniel by the angel of God because he couldn't understand the revelation that was displayed before him (see Daniel 9:22). A misunderstood revelation and the inability to understand a revelation is deadly and costly. That was why, when the Lord reveals things to his Prophets through an angel, the angel of God had to ensure that the prophets view on what is being shown to him, and his view are the same "son of man what do you see (see Zech 4:2&5:2& Here 1:11&1:13)". In that case, I believe you would also pray for understanding as you begin to read this epistle. Now, in 1st Peter 2:9, the bible made us to understand that we christians have been chosen out by God to render a special service to Him. We are an elected nation called into the office of a priest. We don't need to force our self into priesthood because the moment we became the offsprings of God through our Lord Jesus, we became priest to the Lord automatically. As we continue, I would like us to understand who, or what is a priest. A priest in the Kingdom, is an ordained minister of the church, who have the authority to perform certain rites and apply certain grace. The term rite in that sentence above means the prescribed procedure according to God, for conducting Spiritually exercise. In general, what we are actually saying about a priest is that he has the authority to conduct a certain type of Spiritual exercise, and to release certain grace unto God's people. As long as you remain, and have accepted your priestly calling, there are certain obligations you must do, as a way of life. In other words, those kingdom obligation becomes your culture. Another thing I want you to understand, is the suffix 'hood'. The suffix–hood indicate a state or condition—in the case, a state of being a priest. I want you to understand this, as a priest, and a son of God, you are given a ministry to oversee. The reason why you are given a ministry to oversee as a priest and a son is because a ministry is a kingdom department allocated to a son and priest to oversee, and also intercede for. So a son and a priest without a ministry is a son and a priest without a kingdom department to oversee and to intercede for. This bring us to the double barrel anionting. But before we go there, I would like to clarify what a ministry is. A ministry, to God, is a kingdom government department allocated to sons and priest, to control and intercede, or to assist and interceed. You may wonder, why did I say to assist and intercede? The reason why I said so is that, some sons and priest may be given a ministry in another son and priest ministry by God simply to assist and to intercede for that son and a priest ministry. There are some son and a priest that their ministry is just to watch and interceed for the minister, who is another son and priest. Apart from the music ministry of the church, the fivehold ministry of the Spirit, the help ministry Apostle Paul talked about, the healing ministry of the church, there are many more ministries God can send you to. Example, your business can be a ministry God can send you into, the fashion world, agriculture, politics and the government of the world etc, just to make sure His Will is accomplish. Now, on the double barrel anionting, and anionted offices you have and possess, which is the royal priesthood (the son and a priest). The term royal means belonging to or befitting a supreme ruler. In other words, it is a kingly anionting, a monarchy office to dominate. The kingly anionting we possess in this earthen vessel is the anionting that has the ability to control everything on earth, including circumstances and situations, and to render justice. So when the bible called us a royal priesthood, He called us a king and a mediator between Jesus and the world. In other words, As much as you are a controller here on earth, you are also a priest, whose among all duties is to be an intercessor. So as a king in Christ, you control everything through intercession, through the act of priesthood (see Ephesians 2:6). From the old testament to the new testament, we can identify men who utilize this double barrel anionting called the 'Royal Priesthood'. Examples of men who employed the 'Royal priesthood' anointing are; Moses, Joshua, Samuel, King David, The Lord Himself, and The twelve Apostles. This royal priesthood anionting is the anionting that controls everything through inytercession. As we further our study on priesthood, I will like us to study the word 'Priesthood' as we proceed. The word priesthood, is also the word umpire. And an umpire, in some sports, is an official who watches a game or match closely to enforce the rules and arbitrate on matters arising from the play. The role of an umpire is to maintain the standards of play at a sporting events, and to ensure the rules are followed, and gives penalties for infractions according to established regulations. According to this explanation, we are been told what the concept of priesthood means, we have been placed in this world as a mediator, between Jesus and the world. Our role as an arbitrator of this earth is to be an umpire, who watches closely things and happenings in this world and our life, and to enforce the will of God, and to intercede on matters arising from the world, our nation, and our life. There are two aspects of priesthood which are; services to God, and services to man. Now in services to God, what you should understand in priesthood is that, you cannot minister to the people and yourself as a priest, if you haven't yet minister to God. Service to God, or ministering to God, is simply intimacy with God, which can be achieved through spending time with him through the word, through prayer, through worshipping him in Spirit and truth, with worship or praise songs, Psalms and Hymns. That was why the Prophet Samuel could minister to the people, because he simply minister to the Lord first. As a priest, ministering to the Lord is important. Now, services to man. Ministering to man and ourselves, is simply ministering the will of God to ourselves and the people. It can be divide into two functions, which in Matthew 5:13-14, The Lord Himself, revealed to us these two duties and function of ministering to man. They are; The light, aspect and The Salt aspect. The light aspect of priesthood, deals with the responsibility of the revealing of real Spiritual truth of the word of God to the people, this is also the aspect were as a priest, you release certain grace, awareness and understanding of scriptures, and Jesus to the people. In this aspect, you act as a revelator of the mysteries of the kingdom of God, where you unveil the word of God, and explain Jesus to the people, so as to aid growth. Just as green plant requires photosynthesis to grow, that is how Jesus people requires Jesus to grow. One major important thing to know is that, the priest do not have his/her light of their own. The priest is dependent on Jesus the light, so he/she can reflect Jesus to his people as the light of the world. To understand this aspect as a priest, I will like us to study Genesis 1:16. And I read, "And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also". Understand this, God made Jesus, who is the greater light, to rule the realm of awareness, of life and of revelation, power, glory etc, and the church, the lesser light, to dominate, or to reign over ignorance, which is darkness. Hold on for a second, let me enlightening you, on what I meant, when I said, God made Jesus. We all know that Jesus was never made. The word made in that sentence refer to the word 'assign', or to put some thing or someone in a place. Though in Hebrew, it means "Asah", which means to form from something that already exists. So when I use the word 'made' there, i am referring to the assignment of a position called the greater light. So we continue. Just as it is, that without the light of the moon, it will be impossible for us to see at night, so it is also with the church. Without the church, the world will be completely in deep darkness. Now, according to science, the moon doesn’t produce its own light. Moonlight is actually sunlight that shines on the moon and reflect to the earth. The perceived brightness and moonlight of the moon from Earth depends on where the moon is in its orbit around the planet. If the moon is in the orbit nearer to the sun, it shine brighter light to the earth, and if it is farther away from the sun, it shine dim light to the earth. This also is the same with priesthood. The closer you are to Jesus, through the word and prayer, the brighter the light of him you reflect to the world, and the farther you are away from Jesus, the obscurely the light you reflect becomes. Please note in regard to Genesis 1:16 that the moon is not the devil. The devil is a type of cloud called the low cloud, that is why he is called the prince of this world by Jesus in John 14: 30, the prince of the air in Ephesians 2:2 and also remember that he was the anointed cherub that covered (see Ezekiel 28:14). And covering is another function of the cloud. This is why  Satan's plan is to keep the world in total ignorance. Now learn, scientifically, when light hits low clouds, a lot of that light and heat is reflected back into space, which is also the same characteristic of the devil, when he see understanding and awareness of God word in some region. His plan is to act as that low cloud, so he also attempt to try and thwart that understand back to where it came (see Matt 13:7). In this case, we have to reflect sufficient light and fire of Jesus to break through any demonic cloud. Although, we are not the true light like John the Baptist, but we are like a mirror that reflects Jesus to his people. In this way, the priest functions like a mirror that reflects Jesus light down to the world (see 2nd Corinthians 4:6, Jeremiah 3:15, 2nd Corinthians 3:18, Mathew 5:14). No wonder we were told to allow the word of God dwell richly in us, so that we could reflect Jesus to ourselves and others (see Colossians 3:16). This is why we all have been given access to Jesus through the word. In the time of the old covenant, the bread of the presence, which is the word of God, was only for the priest (see Matt 12:4), although King David ate some, which made him enjoy the new testament reality in the old testament, but in the new testament, we have been given access to the word of God through the body of Jesus he broke during the communion, or the last supper (see Matt 26:26), and the cross, when the curtains tore (see Matt 27:51). Remember, the bread of life is Jesus (see John 6:35), who is the true light of the world that light up every man (see John 1:9). Thus to be effective as the light of the world, we must be close to the true light of the world. Another Aspect of priesthood, is the Salt aspect. As the salt of this world, our duty is to make the earth acceptable to God. Just like how salt gives flavor to the earth, we also give flavor to the world, so that God can enjoy the world through our priesthood. Without salt, that which is distasteful, or offensive cannot be eating (see Job 6:6). Our presence as salt approve the earth to God's mercy. As salt of the earth, we restrain corruption, our presence on earth in partnership with the Holy Spirit, restrain corruption or rather slow down the process of the decaying world (see 2nd Thessalonians 2:7). As a salt, we are called to interceed and slow down or prevent decay or people falling away from the faith. We are called to preserve the saints and to interceed for others. Therefore, I will want us to discuss the four levels of priesthood. In 1st Corinthians chapter number 12-28 we were educated, or rather, given a clue about the functions of the four levels of priesthood. But to really understand what that part of scripture convey, I will like us to study the four levels of organization of an organisms, because those four levels of organization of an organisms are equally the four levels of Priesthood. I will be explaining in between. Now, we begin with the cell. In biology, a cell is the functional, structural, basic unit of life of an organism. The cell, is also the basic building block of all living things. It is further, the smallest unit that can live on it's own and that makes up all living organism and the tissue of the body. Now, some main functions of a cell are to produce energy, support growth and repairs, provide structural support, and aid reproduction. Now, just as the cell is, and it benefits, we individually, are structural and functional basic and essential unit of the body of Christ. Our little little contribution to the body of Christ, which can either be in form of the two functions and duties of priesthood matters alot to the whole body of Christ, our prayers, contribution to the kingdom irrespective of denomination matters. God always heals or bring solution, new moves and anointing to the whole body of Christ through the cell, which are individuals who keeps on the duity of priesthood. The cell level of priesthood is very important, it controls the building up of great structural system of God. It is also a type of priesthood that allows room for a priest of God to an individual family. It is hence, the first and most important level of priesthood. Now, when an individual, who have finally understand his/her area of calling in Christ, and begin to identify others with similar mandate as he/she is, their coming together forms the tissue level of priesthood. Let's move on to a tissue, a tissue, is the aggregation of two or more similar cell, or rather, a group of cell that have similar structures, and that function together as a unit. In addition, they work together to perform a specific function (see Amos 3:3). Please, I want you to note that word function. A function here, refer to the role or purpose of a person. This was why Jesus said this in Matthew 18:19, " Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven (KJV). Jesus was referring to the tissue level of priesthood, as long as individuals with a similar mandate, agreed on a specific thing, and pray about it, that which they pray for will be done. Example of a tissue level in the body of Christ are the ministries of the kingdom of God. Please note, I am not talking about denomination here, I am talking about the ministries of the kingdom, like the music ministry, business, the fivehold ministry, etc. Example of it in a denominational church are the departments of the church. Hence, a tissue are group of people with similar mandate and ministrial duty. The main functions of a tissue are to bind structures together, which is to unite individuals with common hunger and zeal, to protect the system of God in the body of Christ. Another function of a tissue is to form a framework, which in this case is a system of God's kingdom and will, and support for organs (church denomination) and the body of Christ as a whole. They also protect against disease, and help repair tissue damage, which is to interceed as a team and to aid the healing process of the body. Now, the next, the organ. In biology, an organ (from the Latin "organum" meaning an instrument or tool) is a collection of tissues that structurally form a functional unit specialized to perform a particular function. In this case, it refers to the coming together of group with similar ministrial mandate and purpose in to one building. This level of priesthood gives rise to divers church denomination. For example, if a group of people with similar Apostolic mandate, or Prophetic mandate, or Evangelical mandate, or even a prosperity mandate, or Healing mandate, or any similar ministrial mandate come together, they become an instrument of God to dispense a specific grace or move/mandate of God, they carry to the saints and others in their region. That is why you don't go criticizing a ministry whose function of Christ is different from your church. As long as the goal of a ministry is Jesus, you don't go criticizing the aspect of Jesus that is being dispense to the world and their region. That's why God enjoy variety, and that's why he gave us different aspects of him. Christ is not divided. Example of organs are your heart, kidneys, and lungs. Examples of organs in the organ priesthood level are different real and genuine church denominations. The last but not the least, is the System. A biological system is a group of organs that work together to carry out a particular task. In this case, it refers to group of denominations, working together to carry out a particular task. Example, a denominations who specializes on healing, can come together to create a system, which in this case can be a healing conference, or crusade, whereby the sick can be easily healed, or denominations who are expertise in the Prophetic, can host a Prophetic conference to pinpoint and to solve the actual problem of the people of God, and to give the perfect will of God to their sheep, or, all other denominations and saints. Or denominations who are intercessors, can come together to interceed for regions that are in need. This level of priesthood is also important. And all this was what Jesus through the life of Apostle Paul was trying to educate us on, because, all this forms the body, and bride of Christ. Hence, do not despise one another's duty post in any of the levels of priesthood. One important aspect about priesthood is that, we ought to grow as a priest. The more you mature as a priest, the more access and responsibilities you are given by God. And this explains how to graduate from one level of priesthood, to another. Your dedication and intimacy with Jesus matters. There are some priests whose duty are outside the temple, some inside the temple, some in the holies of holies. It is how you grow in the things of God and manage the little responsibility of priesthood that determine whether you will wear the garment of Aaron (see Exdous 28 and 29). Father, I pray, that your word be in our heart, that you teach us and gave us the grace to be responsible in our priesthood, and to unite us as one in Jesus name. Father, this word that you have reveal to us will never be snatch by the enemy and we will act on them in Jesus name. Amen. Hope you were blessed. If you haven't given your life to Jesus, you can simply say this prayer whole heatedly and genuinely: Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I am a sinner, please come into my heart, I accept you today in my life and my heart, as Lord over every aspect of me, I now confess with my mouth the resurrection and the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Thank you Lord for saving and accepting me, I now receive Life from you and Life eternal. In Jesus name. Amen. Congratulations to those who say that prayer, you are save, welcome to the family of Christ. Please if you say that Prayer, you can contact us and send us email on yawehspiritschool01@gmail.com. Thank you and shalom.
